We understand that protest concern is rising among parents after repeated protests over coronavirus standards at the public Montessori campus. In particular there seems to be a growing body of evidence that Dallas Police Department is treating citizens differently based on the color of their skin.

Additionally, we understand how protestors on a public school campus might cause alarm. We do not understand why protestors continue to threaten children as young as four or why one of the ringleaders posted an ominous message on her company blog feed regarding which is a better firearm the AK47 or the AR15.

Members of our nonprofit board have reached out to The Gents Place for clarification on the post we have recently been made aware of, but have received no response.

Protest Concerns

There have been multiple protests since September 2021 we are aware of and we realize that these events have parents rightfully on edge. We continue to urge calm and have asked members of City Council and the Dallas Police Department to meet with us, but have been rebuffed repeatedly.
